Problem

VFD emits a loud humming noise when running

Cause

  1. Internal Capacitors may be faulty.
  2. Back Panel may be too close to VFD causing air rushing past to vibrate metal on VFD

 

Solution

  1. Contact KEB for troubleshooting options
  2. Separate panel from back of VFD with soft material.
