Problem

The blower shuts down but no faults are recorded and the MCP or SCADA did not signal the blower to stop.

Cause

MCP Heartbeat Stop is enabled, this causes the blower to shut down if communication is lost between MCP or SCADA and will resume operation when communication is re-established. The “RUN” status will still be displayed in the status area.

Solution

  1. Extend the Heartbeat timeout to a longer delay to avoid possible timer runout.
  2. Disable MCP Heartbeat Stop.
